John P. Belardo, M.D. FACS
John P. Belardo, M.D. is the refractive surgeon at Advanced Laser Center. Dr. Belardo developed his interest in refractive surgery during his residency at Columbia University in New York City. During that time, Dr. Belardo had the opportunity to work with Dr. Trochel, who developed the excimer laser. After completing his three year residency, he went on to spend another year at the University of Rochester to work with Dr. Aquavella, a Harvard graduate, who was spearheading the research in the first excimer laser studies as a conreal fellow and instructor. Dr. Belardo's corneal fellowship makes him one of only a few Corneal Specialists in Oklahoma. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Belardo moved to Elk City, Oklahoma, where he developed five offices in Western Oklahoma, performing cataract, refractive and plastic surgeries. After seven and one half years in Elk City, Dr. Belardo sold his practice to TLC and became one of their first LASIK surgeons. He, along with 3 other surgeons, performed the first LASIK in the state of Oklahoma. Since then, Dr. Belardo has performed LASIK in Texas and Oklahoma, working with several Laser Vision correction companies. To date he has performed over 30,000 vision correction procedures. Today, Dr. Belardo is the co-founder, co-owner and surgeon of the Advanced Laser Center of Oklahoma. He continues to offer the best in LASIK technology at an affordable price. When Dr. Belardo is not here in the office, he enjoys his family time and martial arts. Dr. Belardo also spends time doing mission work to help people in other countries by giving the gift of sight. He has been on mission trips to Africa, China, and South America.

Ken Roddy, O.D.
Dr. Roddy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, and Summa Cum Laude from Northastern State University College of Optometry in 1986. Dr. Roddy has practiced in Tulsa for 19 years and lectured on ocular pathology, pharmacology, and refractive surgery at the state, national, and international levels.

Matt Brooks, O.D.
Dr. Matt Brooks graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. Dr. Brooks is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Brooks is a professional member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Brooks has participated in Optometric mission trips to the country of Belize and plans to be involved in future such service trips.
